The packaging came from the idea of ​​producing an original and valuable gift bottle that will also represent the brand Sv. Ivan.

Conceptually shaped object consists of a circular container for olive oil and a stand that also serves as a bowl, both handmade from ceramic in Croatia. The shape of the package was symbolically reduced to a geometric circle, or the letter O (lat. Oleum – oil) that reminds of round shape of the olive fruit, while further inspiration for the design was the process of olive processing, or ancient pressing in a stone mill, to which the whole package is associated.

This organic extra virgin olive oil is obtained from Oblica, the indigenous Dalmatian variety, harvested at an early stage of maturity. Olives are delicately picked by hand in our ECO olive groves and cold pressed in our oil mill within just a few hours after harvest. The plant of the Sveti Ivan oil mill is equipped with Rapanelli technology, which ensures that valuable olive qualities stay conserved during cold extraction. This method enables to our our oils the optimal taste, specific color and high nutritional value, as well as numerous health benefits.

This monovarietal pure olive essence is rich in scents of greenery and freshly mowed green grass and its flavor is reminiscent of ripe tomatoes. It is a medium intense oil of mild bitterness, with gentle notes of piquancy, therefore it goes perfectly with all types of fish dishes, fish carpaccio, different types of salads and all vegetables cooked or grilled.

The set is designed to encourage rituals typical for Mediterranean dishes – extra virgin olive oil can be served directly from the bottle into a bowl that is an integral part of the package, and if desired, flavored with fresh garlic, rosemary, chilli or other spices and will enrich consumption itself, but also conversation at the table.
