A dessert with almonds with coffee or tea.
Ingredients
- 130 g of wheat smooth flour
- 130 g of wheat sharp flour
- 80 g of almonds
- 80 ml of olive oil
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 2 vanilla sugars
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 teaspoons brandy
- 100 g of sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- powdered sugar, for sprinkling
Preparation
In a bowl, mix the oil, sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, lemon zest, brandy, juice and orange peel, then add the flour mixed with the baking powder and coarsely ground almonds.
Knead the dough and let it stand for about 2 hours in a cool place.
Roll out the dough to about half an inch thick and take out the biscuits with a round mold or another as desired. You can combine different shapes.
Arrange the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 20 minutes, until they get a golden yellow color.
Sprinkle the biscuits with powdered sugar while they are still hot.
Serve with coffee or tea.
